Um. This is awkward.
I have always used my email address to login.
Never my user name.
So this is nothing new to me.
Similar to ubcalumnus, but can’t get past an error page. No chance to enter anything. Android tablet. Chrome.
Same error page if I click Sign Up. Or try to come in via a Google link. Cache is cleared.
I cant get past the error page on my Android phone. If it aint broke???
Error on ipad and Android phone today. Is there a work around?
I am no longer able to log in via my iPhone or iPad. My email/password is not being recognized. I’m only able to post here because I’m on my Mac computer on which I was already logged in.
My iPad login has always been my email/password. My iPhone login for some reason has always been my username. I almost never use my iPhone to access CC but weird that the log ins are different. I only noticed that when this became an issue yesterday.
I would love to hear how this login change is providing us to greater access to information and resources. @CCadmin_Sorin can you please tell us one positive that has come from the login change?
I also tried to log in from my iPhone this morning and could not. I sent admin an email. I’m on my laptop now and was already logged in. And I’m also curious about why this is changing.
Login is not working on desktop or iPhone. Why in the world would a change like this be made when students and families are right in the middle of waiting for ED decisions and desperate for info? Worst possible timing.
Yep- works on the computer but not ipad or phone. The old CC app isn’t working either.
Actually- it only works on the computer if you were already logged in. For those who are /were not already logged in, they cannot get on.

My email address doesn’t work to log in - hence the new username (Ohmomof2 here). I tried logging in with email rather than username - no go. Then password reset, just got an error. Deleted site cookies. Did everything I can think of. Just errors.
@ohmomofnew, there is a log in issue that the support team is currently trying to fix. We hope to have an update soon. Thanks!
It would probably be helpful to add a banner at the top of the website so that people who are trying to log in will see right away that there is an issue, especially when they see that others are obviously still able to log in and post. Many people don’t even know this forum exists, esp with the new format. I usually have to go through several screens just to find this forum. If people weren’t happy before with the changes, I can only imagine how annoyed they are now.
Same… Can’t login at all on phone or PC… and I also only used my email address to login. It auto populated… it wasn’t even a choice. Had to set up a new account… I’m assuming these things are being fixed???

FWIW I do not see the red banner warning anywhere, @CCadmin_Sorin. Thought I saw it briefly yesterday, aannouncing an update, when trying to log in on the ipad, but not seeing it anywhere now. Where did you post it?
I can’t see that message until after I am logged in, however. So anyone having login trouble probably can’t see it either.
I assumed the entire forum was down. Looked closer at the error and thought to try a different browser, then realized forum was up but I couldn’t log in. Then tried all the things to try to get in. On my normal browser I couldn’t even get a log in screen to appear.
…and the first time I saw the “log in changes are coming” message was today, after creating this new account.
I can see the red banner. I have always used my email to log in. Now, today, I can’t log in with my email, and I have never changed my password. I’m getting an error message. I had to send an email. Meanwhile, I’m not going to close this tab, for fear I’ll never get back on.
I think I’d be asking for a refund if I were the PTB at CC.
