No change.

I’m still speculating on whether my first-choice major being replaced with Liberal Arts on my RIS this morning is a sign of something significant. Does anyone have an idea?
Uh does anyone else have a MyUT notification? It just says “TEST!!!” I realize this is most likely nothing. I just thought it was funny.
That is funny indeed. Where do you see this notification?
Does everyone get suggested to apply for housing before they are admitted? My application portal tells me to apply for housing as it isn’t guaranteed.
Yep everyone gets that, if you get accepted you pay an additional housing deposit.
I opened the myUT homepage under “popular student links” area and when I clicked on the Bell icon I saw that I had the notification. It’s really odd.
I can’t find the “popular student links” where is it? It is on this page right (my.utexas.edu/UT-Austin-Production/Welcome)
Open MyStatus and then click on the home icon in the top right corner, from there scroll down to Popular Student links and then MyUT
I went to the popular student links section thing and clicked on MyUT…can everyone else access this too? I click on it and it brings me to MyUT and I have a profile…just wondering if this is a good sign or if all applicants have access to it?
I think everyone has access to MyUT.
Where is the bell icon? Are you admitted already ?
Everyone should have MyUT access
No I’m not admitted already. I noticed that the bell icon is only there for me when I log in on my laptop, I don’t see it when I log in on my phone.
yes, its there for everyone. I know of some folks who have submitted their deposit in Oct.
Has anyone else gotten the “TEST!!!” Message that I mentioned before? Just curious
nope
That would’ve just been a small wave correct? Virtually nobody on this thread or on Reddit has been accepted so that means there’s definitely a “big wave” coming still right?
AP credit is $10 per credit hour (that you now don’t have to take at the college) and you may find you actually use far fewer than you calculated as many majors encourage you to take the class to make sure you really understand the information - turns out thats actually very good advice.
Also you don’t even do that until you are accepted and are choosing classes, so don’t feel overwhelmed by activities that you should not be doing right now.
