when did you hear from SMU? when did you apply? I am still waiting from SMU. UTD, was pretty quick and so was TAMU
Does everyone still say no nursing decisions yesterday? I don’t recall seeing any. DD OOS priority. I’m not on Reddit.
I can only speak for PACE. When my daughter was offered PACE in 2019 you had two weeks to accept it. They specify the date and time and at that time you have to log in and accept. CAP and PACE are first come, first served so you have to be on at that designated time to claim a spot. I understand UT Tyler, which is one of the sister schools offered as part of CAP, was filled up in under A MINUTE that year. Good luck.
Ive only seen a total of three COLA acceptances on college confidential and reddit and non for my major (sociology). Everyone is saying if we haven’t heard back yet it is most likely a rejection which I am fine with, but I find it hard to believe only three people who use these threads got in.
So here’s a specification of my previous question (thank you so much for answering about PACE atx888!!!): I was wondering if that means that when I see the decision on the portal, will I have to hit accept immediately, or will I be given a date and time to sign up and that is when the big rush happens (this is concerning CAP)? Thank you!
still waiting
Hi, I had a friend who applied way after the priority deadline but for some reason got his decision yesterday. Does anybody know why this is? Also, I applied RD and I know they say they will release decisions by March 1st, but when have they historically released RD?
I’ve heard of two nursing decisions yesterday. There will definitely be more today or Monday.
I called admissions last week to ask if fine arts would possibly be after 2/1.
I was told yes, fine arts and architecture could be after 2/1, even for priority.
I also asked if fine arts was choice 2, was that still considered? I was told no, fine arts had to be choice one and if we were denied the other choice 1, to appeal for
Fine arts as a first choice. I then asked was that true for Plan II as choice 1, fine arts choice 2, and they said no, in that case we’d be considered by both colleges. Super confusing as none of that is on the website anywhere.
In any case, we heard back an acceptance last night for fine arts. Honors is still pending which I guess means plan II may still be under consideration, but not sure.
Just wanted to pass that along for fine arts people who listed it as option 2 - appeal if you get rejected. Good luck!
No. You’ll have two weeks (it was two weeks in 2019; I hope it’s not less, instead hopefully more). They’ll give you the date to log back in and the time. Again, this is our PACE experience.
I have to believe it’s the same for CAP. I think there was another parent that provided some detail on PACE and CAP earlier.
Hmmm, it’s a really small program. I wonder if they’re done.
I guess we’ll find out soon.
For everyone that got accepted last night, did you have to keep refreshing the page until it showed the acceptance?
People are sensitive right now because there have been a few trolls who joined recently and then immediately gave false information so the moderators had to remove them. Clearly, you are not one of them, but your original post looked like it could be a possibility. Best wishes to your daughter!
Prayers up guys!! Still a chance!
Accepted last night into Moody around 6:00 . In-State Priority. Had Bad Data 1000 on RIS until 10 mins before 6 and then we could see drop down semester menu and could access Cash which had enrollment deposit info. ACT 33, Non-ranking high school. MyStatus admissions updated at 6:01. Received email from UT to log in to MyStatus after at 7:02.
