Does anyone know when they’ll send out Mccombs acceptance for international students? I still have not gotten a decision
Any idea when international decisions are going to be released?? I applied for Computer Science and still havent heard back
@brandohsau and @CalmCollar Campus is closed through at least Wednesday due to the emergency weather they’ve had there, so I don’t think that’s such a priority right now. Many people still do not have water and have a lot of damage to their living spaces. Faculty and staff in some cases are not yet able to come in and labs etc have to be set up. I believe all decisions are supposed to be made by 3/1 so in light of the emergency weather and closures I would not expect anything before that and perhaps even later due to those emergencies as they are dealing with a lot down there. I am sure they know there are thousands of applicants anxiously waiting for decisions but it is a pretty bad mess there as they’ve been closed since Feb 14 and haven’t had any classes since Feb 12.
How do scholarship applications work for UT? Are you automatically considered when you apply??
Most of the current students say UT Austin.
When do Honors decision come out? S got accepted but waiting for Honors to decide.
Did you hear back? I hope this works out!
When can I expect to hear from UT Austin regarding my admission decision (International Student)?
Read above!!!
March 1
Did any international student receive their decisions?
Engineering applicant
Nah mate, still waiting
Same for CNS.
I really do hope that UT Austin will release decisions today for international applicant. I have been waiting so long, the anxiety and the delay have been so terrible that I just want this nightmare to end. A month ago I witnessed the disappointment of my USA fellows over what was a confusing and stressful application process, I have been through all of it. Let’s just hope whatever comes for us International, it was meant to be for our future.
Anyways, I lost hope from UT Austin. I just found out that their class composes of only 1.6% international students, which is barely 200.
Are you sure about that? It says 10.1 here. Facts & Figures | The University of Texas at Austin
It’s hard to believe that’s correct, since the percent of OOS + international is about 10%, right?
Edit: What Dungeonmaster1 just posted is useful- OOS + international is 8%
Also, I called them today and most likely decisions will be released on 1st march so we can chill.
Thanks! I think the website I posted considered graduate students too. Hence the difference.
