H,i what are your son’s stats? My son applied but hasn’t heard. He is auto admit.
Texas **Non auto admit, ranked top 8%, but his school only ranks top 10%. 4.43 with restricted AP/honors classes. 11AP classes, counting this year Competitive HS lots of service hours and community volunteer hours. Started his own company, 33 ACT, 35 math and English. Good essays, 3 business internships.

Daughter was accepted yesterday!
No email was given. She checked her portal late last night.
Instate, Non-Auto, Applied Oct. 30
College of Education
100/100 GPA, Her HS does not rank, Test optional
Took most rigorous courses offered. Extremely competitive HS. IB Diploma Programme.
Founded an organization that she spread to surrounding region. Internationally recognized/awarded.
4 year individual varsity sport-state champion. Non-recruited athlete.
Other leadership and volunteer activities. Strong Essays.

My ECE admit son’s stats are: in state, auto admit, top 1% of ranking high school, NMS, 1540 SAT, 35 ACT, 6 APs taken (4-5s, 2-4s), 6 upcoming AP tests. Strong extracurricular and some volunteer.
So I guess this wave was mostly LAC, Plan 2, CNS math, biochem, and psych, and finally education, Cockrell, and Mccombs?
I personally haven’t heard a lot of bio kids in CNS get in this wave, which is surprising considering that Bio takes up almost half of CNS itself. Anyone heard of any bio kids?

Probably not, maybe maybe a small trickle of acceptances but the next wave will probably be in January

Got accepted for Cockrell (Aerospace Engineering)! Stats: In state auto admit, top 4%, no SAT submitted, decent EC’s such as engineering clubs, some community service events. I think what really helped me was my essay
