That’s a pretty low yield (25-30%) vs. average yield of 47%. Are most wanting the honors programs like Plan II, CBHP, Turing Scholars, etc. or taking other great private school offers?

My daughter’s changed to 3 as well.
My son just checked MyStatus, and last time we checked he had 13 things done, but now it says he only has 12 done. Not sure why it changed from
13 to 12. Has this happened to anyone else??
Is this an indication that he will hear back soon?

We had before 14 things done, now it says 13

"greater qualified” with “lesser qualified” is hard to tell from just scores and ranking.
The best student in our study group (top 1%) is still waiting on UT’s decision even though she has the higher rank and scores. But she applied Psychology. Even though she has 14 APs, only one of them is social science (Human Geography). Someone with much “lesser” score and non-auto posted in reddit got into Psychology but that person might be straight As on 7 or 8 social science classes.

Honors application I believe.
I think the yield is lower because for a number of kids from our school, the UT honors programs such as Plan II and CBHP are backups as they end up going to Ivies, Stanford, etc. I am not aware of anyone who has turned down Turing or 40 Acres, though. But there are a lot of just normal smart kiddos all across the board who do accept UT for all kinds of programs and majors, both honors and otherwise.

Honors application left from everyone’s portal because it was due yesterday. It has nothing to do with whether decisions are coming out sooner or later.
