yeah, I see those “current student” links too for my OOS daughter. While I don’t comprehend the reasoning why these links are available to her, it is heartening to get a glimpse of UT Austin’s Student functions 
I also notice that Dashboard housing application (I reserved her spot in November) is a little more descriptive now.

It is not a current students tab. Just links to Academics, Personal Info (auto populated with her mob #, mine and email), FInancial Info links and a bunch of other functions normally available to current student.
Clicking any of these links states “you need a valid id to access”
Tried with applicant’s ID and passwd and got in with full access to all pages there. Under Popular Student Links => MyUT, one can see Tuition Balance ($0.00) etc.
It is kind of interesting to integrate all applicants’ info so deep into their system.
Is the main page of UT site that you are referring utexas.edu?
Wishful thinking…my daughter’s personal info comes up when I click on current students.
It appears the same for everyone. Probably it’s just the way how UT integrates the admission process in the system.

In the bealonghorn section. Third line down it says meet your admissions counselor. Some of my friends children who have and have not been admitted have their admission counselor listed. They all go to private school so just curious if it is a possible indication of admittance
there is no name under the Admissions Counselor. The message says " Welcome to be a Longhorn , " which I read as for a prospective student.
My daughter was admitted and her account does not have this. It says on the first line meet your admissions contacts, but when I click on it, it has a blurb about the page missing and shows Matthew McConaughey.

Did anyone get an email from financial aid office right before admission decision that their application is complete
Yeah I got an email from them about two hours ago! But no decision update on my portal sadly. Anyone else?

I was admitted to McCombs OOS in the first big wave. The only reason I checked my portal is that I received an email saying that they needed more information on my financials. I logged in and the congrats was there. Might be a sign.

Two years back, my D19 received her first acceptance from UT Austin on Thursday, right after the winter break (OOS), if that same thing holds true, there should be a small wave tomorrow, hopefully !
