Similar situation…waiting for Aerospace and have very similar stats. Also auto admit and priority. Very frustrated!!!

I am auto-admit, but I have not been accepted to my major yet (according to MyStatus). However, in my Registration Information Sheet for fall 2021 (found on “MyUT” under “Academics”) under “Advising Information”, my first choice major is listed (it says “Engineering, Mechanical Engineering”). Is this the case for any other auto-admits who have not been accepted to their major yet?

Son admitted to mechE tonight. AA, 35 ACT, 1570 SAT, NMSF, solid but not amazing EC and leadership.

My son is auto admit. Still waiting to hear from ECE. No updates on portal.
Mom working overseas called said I am in!
BMEN, 0.8%, 1580, no EC at all (if working Target part time is an EC…) Will check again after getting off work, Target Wi-Fi is beyond bad. Good Luck to All!

In-state, not top 6%, W 5.29 gpa out of 5.0, 1500 SAT
Took 12 AP classes and got 4/5s on all tests so far
Lots of volunteer hours and volunteer awards
Yearbook for 4 years, editor of writing club
Parents went to UT
Major: english&journalism
I haven’t heard back and I am SO nervous because UT is my dream school 
My daughter found out her 1st choice major tonight. She applied on 10/29.

If I see “Engineering, Mechanical Engineering” on my RIS, does that mean I was admitted into Cockrell? I’ve seen a lot of people here and Reddit who talks about Bad Data error on RIS so I was wondering if some people check their RIS for admission.
I GOT INTO MECHANICAL ENGINEERING!!! Let’s gooooooo!!?
