UT Austin Class of 2025 — Regular Decision

Did you take on-ramp classes in high school? Wondering if on-ramp students have RIS access because they’re already in system.

Congratulations! Are there any other AA nursing acceptances? Any OOS Nursing acceptances? We were told by admissions that Nursing would be among the last to come out.

have any math majors been accepted yet?

Same. Do you mind me asking what percentage you’re in? I’m not seeing any auto admits who were between 4.6% - 6% being accepted into the more competitive majors. I’m wondering if those will be the last admitted or if next week will be for all the valedictorians and other highly students who have been overlooked so far.

i was top 5.4 ish percent of my class and I was accepted to McCombs this past Friday. I genuinely have no idea how their admissions process works, it seems soo random

I am ranked 7 out of about 500, which is within 1.5%. Hopefully, I get some good news soon.

top 0.4% here and haven’t been accepted (OOS)

Congratulations!!! I’ve noticed you these past few weeks, you’re on Reddit too, right? Do you mind sharing your stats, even privately? You’re the only person I’ve seen in the same ballpark as my son. Did you submit test scores? Also, tons of guys from our school have applied for McCombs, which I think creates a lot of competition. One or two have been accepted, both with older brothers currently in McCombs.

Thank you so much!! and yep, I was on Reddit recently as well lol. So here are my stats: I applied priority auto admit top 5%(3.975 UW, 5.4 W GPA) I submitted test scores with an SAT score of 1470 and ACT of 32, with 3 leadership roles, 2 internships, and multiple extracurricular activities, and I took an online business certification course. I took over 12 AP courses, and I had numerous volunteer hours which I got a presidential gold award for, as well multiple awards from school, DECA, etc. I was also pretty happy with my essays. I wish you good luck!

Stupid question… how do you start a new question? I can only find how to reply.

And I’ll be glad after this week is over. Good or bad news for my daughter who is non-auto and still waiting, this painful wait will be over. I can’t wait to see so many of you get accepted!!! Hook ‘em!!

I have no idea but I hope it’s posted here. This board is very confusing

What is RIS and BME? Thank you! I’d like to know if there is somewhere else to check besides My Status.

RIS refers to Registration Information Sheet. Its link with an admission decision is not clear at all. It doesn’t add any confidence but more anxiety. We are better off holding for the announcement likely late this week. BME is biomedical engineering.

@jocyjyoshi Congrats! Do you know how many nursing students they admit?

Last year’s nursing class was between 90 and 100.
