That’s typical due to portfolio or interview requirement. A few programs without portfolio requirement may have earlier than Feb admission. This is referring to those completed application by priority deadline.

That happened I think when they received 1st quarter grades. Did your high school recently send 1st semester grades?

UT doesn’t review 1st semester grades.

Our high school sends them automatically so when they sent them it caused the transcript to go from done to in review for a day or two.

This happened to my daughter, she emailed them and this is the response she got, thus my use of the word “reviewed”.
“It looks like a new document was submitted and that is being reviewed. This will not impact the date that your application was completed.”
1/21/21 - we heard the same thing from our UT admissions counselor. UT only looks at grades up through spring Junior year for admission applications.
Since day one, my son’s transcripts always had a “Received” status. Never moved to “Reviewed.”
May have to do with HS without ranking and counselors not submitting grade distribution report. Not very common if in state as most Texas HSs know what to do to help students to get to UT.
Some departments such as engineering honors may look at latest transcript, but that’s not really important as freshmen honors are more formality than competitiveness.

No idea , but my daughter got CAP on Jan 23 ( Thursday) last year .
The largest batch last year happened on 1/21, Tuesday. Who knows, everything is possible.
I don’t really understand CAP. Can you explain it to me? Is it like Blinn TEAM for Texas A&M?
