I stayed in Kinsolving (years and years ago 
) and liked it. I liked the layout of the roomsā¦felt cozy. It was convenient having dining hall downstairs. Food was okay but Iām not picky so thought it was fine. It was all female dorm (except in the summer it was co-ed)ā¦assume itās the same now? Location was convenient for CNS or Engineering majors.

Thanks. Iāve read good stuff about Kinsolving. Positive words about the food and rooms. Might consider if honors quad isnāt an option. She stayed at Moore-Hill for a week last summer. It was pretty nice. And often a positive how itās lesser stories without an elevator. Actually nice to not have to always deal with elevator, which can have various issues.
yesss, in reddit. I feel like you could find the most wild thing about admission in reddit. 
Iām answering for my daughter, but her main essay stemmed from a cardiac arrest she had when she was 13. She was literally ādeadā for 6 minutes, but thankfully was revived. The essay only touched briefly on the event itself, but what it led to was recognizing the gifts she received in the hospital, how meaningful those were to her, and how, since then, she tries very hard to give meaningful gifts herself. Sheās quite well known among her friends and family to give the best gifts (usually handmade), and we look forward to getting them every year (Xmas, birthdays, etc). 
She really struggled with a topic for several months and settled on this, and she seemed satisfied. Itās gotten her deferred or rejected from some of her top school choices so far, so take it for what thatās worth. Still waiting on this silly UT major acceptance!

Nothing has been updated yet and I would be shocked if anything was updated before 5 PM CST. They donāt want to interrupt the school day.

One thing Iām curious about is how can UT want us to capture our admissions reactions if thereās no set time to turn the video on?

For years Iāve explored Mayan ruins with my father. On one particular trip at a place called Yaxche-Xlabpak, we got lost. My essay detailed my experience, fear, worry, but ultimately my resilience. Tied it all together with the experience tying into how love for everything, from my mother to archaeology carried me every step of the way.
