Yes, and it would be with the director himself so it’s really intimidating.
When my son logs onto his my status page, he does not see an option for applying to the computer science honors program. Has he missed the window?
Does anyone have any stats/info/stories about people getting into Dean’s Scholars or Health Science Scholars for CNS/Bio major?
Yes I believe the deadline was Dec 11.
Admissions is back today! Let the anxiety begin again
Any chance of a drop tonight?
No chance. The next window will be mid/late January which is usually a very large group.

UT Austin Fall 2024 Results and Statistics
Good afternoon y’all,
I’ve created this form for all applicants who have received a decision to complete for data about UT admissions.
Many members of this subreddit are anxious and also curious about the profiles of people who were admitted or rejected. This form is intended to ease the anxiety of applicants.
The results of the survey can be found here
I encourage all who have heard back to fill out the survey for the benefit of everyone.
When filling this form out, be ready to have the dates of your application submission and decision ready to make the survey easier.
Thank you.
Might want to add a question of when they received their major… my son was admitted back in October, but received his major in December.
Thanks! That’s a good idea. However, this isn’t my post. Here’s the Reddit user who created/posted: https://www.reddit.com/u/Datnotguy17/s/FlQhvOWn1o
My kiddo who is a high stats, top 1% in a big public school, is yet to hear back for CS major acceptance. She was however invited for 40 acres scholarship.
Does it mean that she would be accepted to CS?
Uncertain. Apparently, in previous years, there have been students invited to apply to 40 Acres who subsequently were not accepted.
Hello, just doing reconnaissance. Has anyone’s child been accepted into McCombs applying test optional? My DD plans to apply this fall as test optional. She is already auto admit due to ranking. I’m just wondering if applying test optional is going to significantly reduce her chances of acceptance into the business school. Thanks.
Yes, people have gotten in without it. I don’t know about this year (very few McCombs decisions have gone out yet), but last years thread had several test optional accepted students. You just need a strong GPA 3.9+ UW.
My D22 got into ChemE TO, non auto. She had like a 3.98 UW. We know of 22 McCombs admits TO too, but as said above, not this year yet.
Since before the break, I noticed that my daughter’s application now states “Waiver: Uniform Admissions Policy”. It is under “My Documents” and was added in November. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but she goes to a private school. She is not top 6% but top 10%. Has anyone noticed that on your son or daughter’s application? Any thoughts? Thank you!
I saw this on Texas A&M site: State of Texas Uniform Admission Policy | Admissions - Admissions.
yes its a private school thing in texas. It’s a form the counselor uploads saying that you are indeed getting a diploma, usually a foundation diploma.
Thank you! I
thanks!
