UT Austin Class of 2028 Official Thread

I don’t think nearly anyone has heard back from Mccombs.

Anyone else here got email about being a semi finalist for the Forty Acres? Any one knows how many rounds after this? My DD got an email today and there seems to be not much flexibilities and our dates are conflicting with other things we cannot cancel/ :frowning:

Congratulations! Next step is an interview after which then they select 60 or so finalists and invite them to a finalists weekend to UT campus. After that, they select 15 or so recipients.

Nor does it make sense.

My DS was accepted to Mccombs on Dec 14th. He is auto-admit as well. But there was definitely a small wave of McCombs.

When do interviews officially start? Like what day?

Were there decisions yesterday? I didn’t see any here and didn’t see any on Reddit!

There were no decision yesterday. It’s been quiet for a long time. I think they are waiting to release the rest all at once next week or early the week after that.

Same here, My son was accepted to McCombs and Plan II on Dec 14th. He is non auto-admit.

Question - If he has not heard back from Canfield BHP for interview so far, then does that mean he is likely not getting one? or is there still hope to hold out?

It’s been a good ride! Trust, we will all be longhorns soon enough!! :metal:

Thank you. We have date conflicts at this point :frowning: Between a mandatory school event and this. Not sure what we should do.

Jan 29 and 30 is what the email says

Anyone else see an error @id code on their my status? I have two students with this code on their page. One auto admit who has not heard on major and one non-auto who has not been officially accepted.

Mine says: Error 503: Must declare the scalar variable “@id”.

I am OOS student waiting to see if I got in.

This is weird, because I checked earlier today and everything was working as expected. Maybe they are uploading final decisions for release on Monday because they have released on Monday in the past.

“In Computer Science, a scalar variable is a numerical value that represents a single quantity without any direction or magnitude.” 1=accept, 2=deny 3=waitlist maybe???
