I had emailed the UT admissions last week and they just got back to me saying that decisions will be released on February 1st.

Colleges are trained to say that just in case something goes wrong. This is obvious in both UNC and U Miami (who said it would be next week up to 3 minutes before decisions actually came out) It will likely still be today.

They randamolly come out over the course of an hour or so. There are batches, but the specific batch you are in means nothing.
Just curious - did any of your students apply to Moody Advertising?
My in-state auto-admit daughter chose McCombs/Marketing as her first choice and Moodyâs/Advertising as her second choice major. Sheâs still waiting to see if she got her first choice or not.
