Old dashboard was a good indicator in the past and worked for us too on 1/15. It updates to one major(given major) once student is admitted instead of showing 2. Not sure what shows there when student is denied
Ours was the same until 2hrs before. Wait for tomorrow 
shows one major on the dashboard tab or the admission tab? sry for the questions just hoping for good news
I have the same question, as I have one showing up on Dashboard tab but both (first and second preference) options showing up on the Admissions Tab.

In “Admissions” tab it will update to one major on right hand side. I just call 3rd link old dashboard
Update: Ok, I see the problem, let me see if I can update it to “Admission” on 3rd link- DONE(updated to correct name tab on 3rd link)

international kids may need to wait a bit longer if they are included in this batch.
Praise UT for what it did after 1/15, kind of expected this to happen, but guessed the wrong date, thought it could happen yesterday.

Does anybody know anything about the academic advisor disappearing/still being there, for engineering applicants? A lot of people on the UTAdmissions Reddit have been discussing it.
No idea, nothing in my sons has changed at all. He still shows the advisor but it has for months. He has never had a RIS page.
From what I read, every engineering student was assigned one advisor in the beginning, if after updates, some still there and some are gone, I will leave the rest for other people to predict.

I vaguely remember that I saw such a case earlier, better to wait until 3pm cst then.

are you guys using applicant portal credentials on this or something else? My portal username/pwd isn’t working.
Same here, advisor from CNS but my engineering major overlaps with CNS - environmental engineering.
I have gone to My UT and then clicked on the scholarships icon in the drop down.
