He’s super excited but he also has this weird sense of whiplash. For the last month he’s been imaging himself at a completely different university. He said he’s going to a graduation party tonight and then coming home and accepting.

Agreed IMHO VERY deserving based on all his efforts and being a helpful resource to all of us. Especially since it’s his son’s dream school.
But really, they probably just wanted to shut him up…

Any chance you could provide the exact time the email was received? I’m trying to determine if they already did 2 batches tonight
It looks like they texted right at 6:40 EST which is sort of a weird time. I expected to hear more acceptances by now so maybe his was part of the tail end of the initial wave?
If it’s quiet tonight then the big wave hits next week.

I saw 2 other people on fb say that their offers came in at 5pm today. So maybe they’re going out in waves?
