@programmer13 - what’s the value of seeing an acceptance letter?
I just wanted to check whether there is any information about the waitlisted student, like how many will be or have been selected.
There is no such information in the letter.
So do you think the next round of acceptance will be May 15?

I would guess next week. Closer to the end of the month.
Admissions will know how many from last week’s wave declined by later this week. This will allow them to determine how many more need to come off the WL in the next wave. I would expect they would want to do this quickly, so I’m hoping the next wave is next week.
It’s been more than five days for those accepted off the waitlist last week. Anyone care to share what you decided? Will you be a Badger or did you decline the waitlist offer?

Still waiting and June 1st is in a few days. This sucks I think they will let us know in one or two days because the deadline is right here.
In the decision letter it says until July 31st… so nevermind we have a while.

Not a waitlist student, but I got deferred as a transfer back in march for CS. Submitted by grades on the 16th, then got accepted on the six days ago on the 22nd. Might be filling transfer students for the time being, then moving forward on the waitlist? The deadline for transfer students to submit their grades is tomorrow, so maybe after that they’ll start back up on the waitlist. Just a guess though
@gabezim If that’s the case, then ig that’s bad news for all those still waitlisted (which includes myself). Colleges normally start accepting waitlisted transfer students AFTER they’ve accepted ev1 they want to accept from the regular waitlist. This is really unfortunate, but I think all regular waitlist admissions are done… Commiserations to ev1 still on the waitlist. I feel particularly disheartened as this is the best uni I’ve applied to that hasn’t rejected me yet.
They are not going to have a wave every week. So we shouldn’t get discouraged by our own assumptions. Instead, we should just wait it out and see what happens. Also, they did say they would inform us when the waitlist has closed.
