@gabezim - how do you know last day for grades for transfer students is today? my son applied for transfer student for fall but I don’t see a deadline to submit his grades
I accepted the offer on the 15th (as soon as I got the email) I see a lot of posts in the class of 2024 Facebook group about people accepting and then seeking roommates. Can’t guess what percentage of people actually accept it though.
Any word on any more waitlist acceptances? My son is set on going to San Diego State but they are online in the fall. UW is much closer to home and in state tuition beats out of state tuition while living at home.
Here it is June 8th I have not seen any comments since June 1. My son is set to go to Indiana but like others we are in state and would prefer UW but he’s been wait listed

Check your portals. My daughter was just accepted off the waitlist. When logging in, the initial screen has a new student’s checklist. No email yet and the application status still says accepted waitlist offer but the decision letter has been updated. Must have been sometime today. The decision letter is dated tomorrow! Good luck everyone!

I was deferred then waitlisted. Sent 2 LCI’s and called them but the hard work paid off.
My son got off the wait-list today. OOS. L&S. No email yet, just saw the updated acceptance letter in the portal.
My OOS daughter just got off the waitlist. She got an email that her status had changed. 30 ACT, 3.97 GPA. She’ll be declining.
I was also let off the waitlist today with an email to check my status portal. Im OOS and was accepted into the college of arts and sciences for communication. I sent an email expressing my continued interest and one rec. Not sure if I’m going to accept yet.
Received an acceptance today at 8:04 pm EST. I was surprised I was waitlisted coming from a high school where UW has nearly a 100% acceptance rate above a 4.0 weighted. OOS (VA), 35 ACT, 3.6 uw, 4.2 w, no LOCI or additional material sent

Ahh I just got accepted into Wisconsin Madison Direct Admit to the Business School off the waitlist!!

I got an email saying my status was updated, but now I have no idea what to do because I already committed to Indiana.

OOS (CA) son was admitted off of the wait list last night. Political Science major, 29 ACT, 3.87 GPA. Wisconsin was initially his first choice but he is pretty excited about, set with roommate etc…at another school so undecided what he will do.
where did you send your LCI’s and who did you call?
i was accepted off the waitlist today 33 ACT, 3.8 GPA
@Wiscwait2024 I don’t think a LCI or showing active interest is a factor. I did neither and was accepted off the waitlist. Although, maybe if I did both I may have gotten a decision faster? But if you are gonna send a LCI or contact someone I’d recommend either your admissions officer or the admissions email
Seems like a lot more people are getting off the waitlist compared to past years. I wonder if they will have another wave.
