For those who just came off the waitlist on 6/10, how much time are you given to accept/decline? Is it 5 days (or 5 business days)?
You are given within 14 days after your day of admission to accept the offer
That’s so surprising because in the last wave of people coming off the WL, they said they were only given 5 days to accept or decline. Five days did seem pretty quick!
I got in but they barely gave any financial aid. It’s so expensive for out of state students, I am emailing an appeal to get more aid!
I have like a week left to decide if I am accepting.

I’m sorry to say that I have had a look at the historical data and there has never been a single student taken off the waitlist on June 31.
There is no such thing as the 31st of June!
@SeptUnella @jacky400 y’all need to take this a lot less literally lol. Ik I said “I’m hoping for another wave on June 31st” but there’s no June 31st this year. I’m just hoping for another waitlist wave towards the end of this June, and historical data can’t be used to determine anything this year cause who knows what effect COVID-19 has on admissions. With a freshman class size of roughly 6,300 ppl, there’s always gonna b a few ppl who decide to drop and go to a different school. All I’m saying is to not lose hope yet becuz UW hasn’t closed the waitlist yet. When they do, we will know the class is filled. Till then keep hope.
where did you find historical data regarding previous waitlists?
anyone here anything over the weekend? I looked at 2019 and I see some 2019 students in state got off the waitlist as late as July 20

Just admitted off of the waitlist! Received an email notification. MN applicant. 33 ACT 3.9 GPA UW. Applied RD then waitlisted. Sent multiple letters after waitlisted.

Got in off the waitlist as well! College of Letters and Science, pre business major. OOS Applicant - 3.45 UW GPA, 1270 SAT with strong extracurriculars. On Wisconsin!!

My son got of the waitlist today! Pre-Business. We love Wisconsin, but he has sort of become invested in CU Boulder (also Pre-Business). Advice? Will Wisconsin have a good return-to-campus plan? Football? Social life? We are from LA. Wisconsin is probably a better overall school, but given Covid, everything has changed.
