Nope, no crossover - the new series takes place in LA at the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse. It’s supposed to be another perspective on the outbreak from new points of view.

While you’re waiting, have you watched Z Nation? It’s way more cartoony…but the lead characters are very good and it’s written with more wry humor than TWD attempts. Their scripts have made sly references to “a sheriff holed up in a prison” but no crossover.

The young lady that plays “Gloria”, who is apparently “patient zero” in Fear the Walking Dead is a friend. I knew months ago that she had been in the pilot episode, but was not sure what sort of role she actually had. But her picture has been all OVER the place for the past few weeks, so that’s gotta be good for her career. If you are going to be a character that certainly gets killed off in the first episode of a huge hit series, you might as well be the one whose picture is plastered everywhere!

Hehe. You wouldn’t know it from the series, but Lexi (the actress who plays Gloria) is really very pretty and speaks and everything!

I want to know what Nick Clark (played by Frank Dillane) is wearing in that first scene…looks like some girl’s sexy white midriff top - the type you tie in front - or a silky white shrug; it has flared cuffs at the wrist and is way too short on his torso…weird!
