got waitlisted. Does anyone know the acceptance rate for wl?
T shirt offer is a nice touch.
agreed!
2022-23, they accepted 168/3447 (who took a place on the WL), so about 4.9%. 2021-22 it was 0 out of 3981. Apparently they went over target enrollment that year, and this illustrates it is very contingent on how yield goes.
Yay! D24 was admitted to Sam Fox!
3.95 UW/35 ACT/12 or 13 APs/portfolio submitted/no interview.
D24 is at track practice, but WashU sent me an email about admitted student events, which congratulated D24 on her admission.
I think your story and @TDS1 's just prove that WashU’s yield protection strategy works. My twins have similar stories with other schools. Highly unpredictable.
did anyone receive merit aid that you didn’t have to apply for? is that a thing or is it just the signature scholars program thing
thank u!!
EDI shirt looked different at least the one that arrived to our house
Daughter got in

yes, my bad; i remembered it was red + said washu in white, but blanked on the specifics
So do any rejected students still have both AO and Admissions coordinator?
Is the T Shirt free, or do you have to commit?
DD Accepted. So surprised and happy.
3.97gpa
35 math and English ACT
High level athlete/German speaker
She was also offered free flight and stay for admitted student day. Is that offered to everyone?
I have a feeling it’s mainly yield protection and whether kids from your school had been matriculating in previous years. You have great offers and I am sure will have more next week. Congrats.
DD waitlisted.

My daughter received the same travel grant.
