Although I guess this dovetails with my still unresolved question about whether or not there is any sort of hidden waitlist or such for the Academic Scholarships. Maybe they would not want to say it is all over if it was not actually completely, totally over.

At least on my portal, the scholarship section is now completely gone. Not sure if thatā€™s a sign of anything.

I feel like that may well be how they close out the Academic Scholarships, assuming those who received them are instead getting a different portal message at the same time.

Anyway, for the sake of future researchers, this is is happening on Wednesday, 2/21.

I did not receive a scholarship and my portal updated yesterday with removal of all scholarship info in WashU pathway.

At the end of all this, I hope to put together a little comprehensive timeline (which we can validate as a group), which people can then refer to in the future. There are lots of possible events, so hopefully you and others will keep chiming in until we are sure they are all covered.

the meet and greet zoom was about 80 people, including a handful of current scholars (about 12) and someone from the scholarship programā€“do with that what you will

did they mention how many admits from ED2? They shared ED1 numbers during the ED1 session in January.

this was combined ed2 and rd i think! and no, no numbers. about 125 in the program in total (i assume from all 4 years)

also based on the insta gc almost everyone applied for all 3 scholarships but only heard back from one

nothing so far. if i had to wager, iā€™d guess itā€™d come out monday with their follow up email + interview times

My student wasnā€™t able to attend the meet and greet. Can you give more details? Were the finalists able to introduce themselves or was it more listening to the people in the program? Was it like a presentation?

we all introduced ourselves with name, hometown, college weā€™d be in if we attend washu (e.g. arts and sciences)

then the director spoke for a bit, and several of the current scholars also spoke

then we went into breakout groups with current scholars + each other to talk for like 10ish minutes?
