^ You’ll see a lot of code but if you page down, there’ll be something (in English) to trigger suspicions. Mr Nigel, incorrect grammar, “girls” or the like. Sometimes, it’s all code. Then it’s a judgment call whether to open the email. At the top, there’s usually the server routing (not always and not always translatable.) But, I know Auntie doesn’t route through Germany.

I initially had this issue because I couldn’t tell if some msn emails were genuine. A lot of this is intuitive.

Btw, I know some about computers, but feel my way through this stuff and don’t even have the vocab to explain well.

Decided to remove my response.

aquamarinesea - Rest assured, I’m pretty well taken care of as far as cybersecurity, but thanks for your concern in my education on the matter. Funny thing about the internet, you never really know who you’re talking to.

Beats me, but I just got back my mobile format. Hit the back button and that’s what popped up.

If there is an easy way to toggle between the two, wish someone could tell me. I was doing what Romani was but that’s a pain. Hmmph.

Works for me now, too.

Well it didn’t go automatically like it normally does, but I have the mobile option back.

Sigh, CC lol

I wasn’t logged on during the hacking and I’ve changed my password. This gem landed in my private CC email today. How does this happen?

Hi,

I’m the ex college admissions dean at UCLA. I’m the co-founder of a new product that helps students calculate college admission chances and figure out exactly what they must do to get accepted.

As a parent, you want to do everything possible NOW to make sure your children successfully get accepted into college. 9/10 students don’t get accepted into their top 3 choices, but 98% of students using our product get accepted.

Join 15,000 other parents to help your children get into college!

Thanks,
Matt Robinson

Spam. They send it to a group of cc members in a thread, forum, whathaveyou. Just mark it as spam and delete (although I reported the poster earlier, as I’m sure others did, so I’m sure the mods have zapped him). It happens every once in a while.
