<p>Is anyone else getting a McDonald’s ad which folds down from the upper right hand side of the CC window. If you don’t respond it eventually folds halfway down the page!</p>

<p>Agreed! I was thinking about starting this very thread about an hour ago. SO ANNOYING WHEN AN AD GOES OVER THE TEXT OF A THREAD! We have never had an ad like that on CC before… 
wish it would go away! I don’t really want to change browsers just to get rid of it, but it is making be crabby with McDonalds and CC.</p>

<p>Not getting the McDonalds ad thing, thank heavens, but I must say I am enjoying the temporary respite from all the ads on the side and at the top/bottom of cc!</p>
<p>I’m thinking that the McD ad might be related to the malware issue earlier. The timing is suspect.</p>

<p>I noticed that when I hit my back page button, it’s taking longer than normal to load the page. In the bottom left corner, it reads “Waiting for ads.collegeconfidential.com”</p>

<p>WIll the adblock work on youtube videos? I just watched a video news link (sadly, one of the victims of the recent Minneapolis worklplace shooting was the spouse of a relative) and still had to watch the ad that preceeded the film clip. Don’t see how that is avoidable, but am greatly appreciating the absence of annoying ads on the sides of other sites.</p>
<p>I just downloaded the adblock program. Now my pages are loading very quickly!</p>
<p>jym, I am not sure that the adblock takes away the “pre-video” video ad, but I think on YouTube that it takes away print ads, plus those pesky links to ads that used to appear at the bottom of the video itself. Just what I think, but I’m no expert on this.</p>
