Hello, Iam an international applicant Round 1 who did the interview. However, I havent submitted the FA documents and it is way past the deadline. Can I submit them after decisions ? will I still be eligible for aid?

@BTMmors @Ismsil0 Last year, the decisions were released on March 22nd (Friday). So my guesses for this year would be March 20th (a Friday again) or March 23rd (Monday, since I doubt YNC would send out emails during the weekend).
I believe they post Instagram updates the day before they start sending admitted students their letters (?), so you could turn their notifications on!
@surejen one of my friend’s parent insists to me that they’re being released March 19th because he heard about it from someone? I have zero idea. But soooonnnnn!
That’s sooner than I thought! I thought the coronavirus might delay the process, but we’ll see.
Does anybody know what happens to the EYW? As far as I know YNC didn’t shut down, is that right? Will they still fly out admitted students to Singapore?
I applied to Yale-NUS with Yale on January 2, 2020. However, I recently realized (2 weeks ago) that I hadn’t sent my Standardized Test Scores. I sent it ASAP and they received it last week.
Which Decision Round would I be considered for?

@surejen @spinachbrain211 @BTMmors I recall seeing the decisions date posted as 23rd March on their website a long time ago, but when I checked just now to confirm, I couldn’t find it. My interviewer said we would know by the 1st of April though. I’m guessing it will be by around then given the COVID 19 situation.
This wait is realllly killing me. Sad to hear about the EYW being cancelled, but they obviously can’t have it with the outbreak. Maybe they’ll have one after things get better?
@blrcollegekid24 March 23rd… Sounds plausible! I’d give an estimate of anywhere from March 18th to 25th. Calm, though! We’re gonna get them sooner or later.
@Naldo111 As for whether or not COVID is going to delay results- I think it’s highly unlikely. They sort of have to release results by now, since all the US colleges are releasing now as well. They need to follow this schedule or else they won’t get as many people committing to the school. Some people might receive results elsewhere or for ED EA and not consider YNC if it comes out too late. Peeps like us who are dying to go to this one school is a minority, I’m guessing, haha!
@ynot12 @Naldo111 @surejen For round 1 EYW, it’s 100% not happening. I currently live in Singapore and the COVID situation is pretty serious right now. Gov has banned all public gatherings with groups larger than 250 people. The headcount is even stricter for schools, where no more than 100 students can gather in the same closed space. All big assemblies have been switched to live-stream at my school, and for some smaller gatherings, we need to sit every other seat in the gym. Singapore is on the verge of school closure right now. I’m not going to be surprised if round 2 EYW gets canceled too since I’ve heard of lots of local events scheduled in May being called off. RIP.
@aarybalkar The round 1 and 2 applications are separate. Whichever round’s application form you submitted is whichever round you are going to be considered for. It’s not like if they’re missing stuff from you, they’d automatically place you in the applicant pool of the next round. So, you are currently considered in round 1.
That being said, however, if your submission of scores was too late for them to consider and decide whether or not to accept you, but at the same time they don’t yet want to reject you, they will defer you to round 2. When that happens, you’ll be considered for round 2.
@surejen Mmmmm! I think they recently revamped their Instagram system and got rid of the admissions account, so I’m not too sure of the whole Instagram post situation. I do think they’re going to post SOMEWHERE. They always do, whether it be Facebook or Instagram some other platform. The solution is to follow YNC everywhere, or just read this thread. Someone’s gonna get the intel! 
Also, since we’re all talking about results-- I think we should start building a stats and activities profile so that next year’s people can be a little less clueless and know more about YNC’s admissions process. If that’s ok with all of you, we should each start posting some of that once decisions come out.
@surejen @spinachbrain211 Thank you!! It’s really disheartening that we’re the class affected by it At this point some seniors might not even have a graduation ceremony. Still, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, I haven’t gotten in but I thought that my interview went pretty well. Hoping for the best, and good luck to all of you!! I agree with @surejen, I think that decisions will come out either March 20th or 23rd. Now we just wait.
Completely agree. All we gotta do is wait and hope for the best! Hopefully the decision comes out soon.
