Anyone watch Parenthood, the tv show?

What idiot goes to someone’s place of work to tell them they are going to make it work with another man? Of course, texting him would have more closely matched her level of maturity.

otc2010, the song was Eddie Vedder’s “You’re True” from his solo album “Ukulele Songs.”

Mark told Sarah to come find him with her answer…so she took him literally?

DH and I watched last night and we enjoyed it.

So glad they have Ryan trying to make a go of his life and I am glad that he and Mae Whitman’s character got together. I LOVED the adoption ceremony scene!!! Hokey and all. It was great.

RE bald Christina: I believe that when chemo patients loose their hair, they generally loose ALL their hair (eyelashes, eyebrows, etc). I kind of wish they’d have at least tried to make her look like a “real” chemo patient looks.

OK, now I am just being picky and silly. But just thought I’d share. I do hope the show comes back.

The fact that they didn’t even call Haddie (off screen moment if she’s busy with other work?) put me off the credibility of the whole episode. Yes, kids move on, but, really? So I hated that part. Big lapse in otherwise good writing. Also totally dislike Sarah, although I like Hank and I wish he had more interaction with Max. My favorite moments were with Amber and Ryan. Love that story line. I, too, will miss them, both in the short run and in the long run, if they’re not renewed…

I just caught up on the last two episodes of Parenthood. I agree with most of what was said here.

If Sarah disappeared entirely from the show, I would be fine with it. I just don’t understand her in any way and the way that she talks/acts really gets on my nerves. I endure those scenes to watch the rest.
This was also one of the first times that I really found Crosby to be a likable character. I loved his interaction with Julia. Really lovely.
The little boy who plays Victor is really handsome. Such a good looking boy!

The season had it’s good and bad parts but I do love the show. It is one of the few that I watch. I hope it comes back next season.

Just a heads up for those who need to find an hour of programming to replace Parenthood and aren’t interested in Smash, give The Americans over on FX a try (Wed. 10PM). I watched the premiere last night and was very impressed. Obviously very different content than Parenthood, but it was time well spent.

Read today that NBC has renewed Parenthood for next season and has ordered 22 episodes. Good news for Parenthood fans!

Yea! But I won’t be watching with ds anymore. :(

Great news!
It’s corny and unreal but I love it.

Great news!! thanks for the update!

Yeah, I was so excited to read that!

Thanks, we’l give it a try.

DH and I (who both liked Parenthood) liked “Friday Night Lights” on Netflix. Also a totally different series - “House of Cards”.

House of Cards, Yes!
The one with Kevin Spacey, right? It was terrific.

Yes, musicmom, the Kevin Spacey series. (But we are considering the the UK “House of Cards” miniseries on Netflix. ) Warning - it is darkly evil and “not for prime time” bedroom scenes.

Did anyone else see this? From the Huffington Post:

Mmm, we are a Netflix family also…may have to try the UK series.
Darkly evil and provocative BR scenes don’t scare us off!

Anyone seen the commercials??? WTH is Ray Romano doing back? And I’m excited at the prospect of a wedding!!!

The series is still going?

I haven’t seen the commercials but I’m glad to hear that it’s restarting soon! I’ll be tuning in.
