<p>Anyone gotten a Drexel University early decision yet because I received an acceptance letter just 2 days ago with a $15K scholarship although the decisions were bond to come on 1st April.</p>

<p>Princeton2017, i did apply to like 20 colleges.
And i dont think its crazy! I think its perfectly okay. I did because i am international student who needs a lot of financial aid. So for me, i dont think i regret or anything.
And i used fee waivers for the apps of all colleges but paid for sending scores. And emailed/faxed rest of the documents!</p>

<p>I didn’t even paid a single dollar for whole US application process :stuck_out_tongue: used ISFAA and CSS Waiver for Finaid Documents and i gave them my username password of Collegeboard for checking SAT score so yayyy!!! @rew2402 Agreed 100%</p>

<p>Has anyone ever gotten a thing such as “Select Candidate Application”? :confused: Its actually an email containing an application form that a particular university sends to some candidates who apparently are “the ideal candidates” for that university.</p>

<p>Okay so i got such an email from Hofstra University and tbh, my first thought was, SCAM! Because neither had i ever heard of such a thing nor had i ever heard of this university. But after some google work, seems like the university does exist, lol. So anyways, it said in the email that if i submit the form that they’d sent or even submit my application from the common app to this uni, they’ll waive my application fees and give me priority scholarship notification.
So THEN i thought, this university is probably free to apply to anyways, their just trying to make their offer sound better. I checked this university on common app and turns out they actually do have a $75 international fees to be paid.
So my question is, is it worth wasting some time on? obviously it isn’t any great,famous university AT ALL but still, should I waste any time with the form they’ve sent?</p>
