@acroyal - I could chance you for admission and scholarship to these places only if you share your stats with me first, haha. And hey, which school are you from?

@duresham3 - Yale-NUS does not offer a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - the reason I did not apply there.

There have been a handful of Drexel acceptances at Roots over the past month or so. Something like 9-10, all with the A.J Drexel of 15,000$/annum. Also a St. John’s with full tuition and Tulsa with 45,000/year

@JS,
I’ve had my Yale interview. I didn’t apply to Princeton, however, so obviously nothing from there. I do know four people who applied and three of them did get Skype interviews while the fourth one had her’s in person.

And yes, fingers crossed for a Harvard interview come March

And another 5-6 HKU acceptances with a 350,000 HK$ entrance scholarship. I’m not sure whether that’s a full-tuition scholarship or not, because I didn’t apply there, but that’s what they got.

There’s also someone asking about the IDOC; it IS required for international students and you should just leave the SSN field blank. They (College Board) have to have it by Friday, 1st March, so make sure you’ve sent it by now. Remember, no courier, only air mail.

Has anyone had a Dartmouth interview/ alumni contact yet?

Edit: In fact, that date might be different depending on which college asked for it.

@PakiRootsian
And you do know what ‘finger crossed’ means? This gesture invokes Jesus for help as a God because he died on the cross for the sins of mankind. I’m baffled by the number of people who use this gesture without knowing its true meaning ;D

I’m sorry I can’t tell you anything other than the fact that they applied for the 15th December deadline, because that’s all I know; like I said, I didn’t apply to Hong Kong.

Jerry,
I used the expression as exactly that; just an expression. I do not know about the spiritual or hidden depths it may have, but then again you don’t know what my religous beliefs are and maybe I AM invoking Jesus’ help. :p

Ahtesham, thank you, good luck to you too! And I haven’t added those acceptances because decisions are still flowing in and I thought I’d add them once I have a concrete and less fickle number.
