Cornell Waitlist Class of 2028

No I think they were just responding to my question lol I asked if they would send an email even if you didn’t get accepted off the waitlist

Oh💀 got me scared for a sec

Frrr I just wonder if they extended their deadline for accepted students because of fafsa because I’ve heard of other schools doing it but nothing from Cornell

Fr… but it can’t be impacting that much… right? Historically Rice doesn’t even take off much ppl but they began accepting from the waitlist last week or so🤕

Yeah, wait I am so confused. I expected an email today once I got home from school. Should I potentially call the CALS office just to ask or will that make them mad?

It definitely won’t make them mad… I remember someone called the office like 5 times and he still got accepted

I don’t know I think I saw a Reddit where someone called some years ago

Maybe they release it at 7? Although everything I’ve read they’ve sent emails at 4

Yeaaa… best of luck to us, we are all in this together!!!:crossed_fingers:

Someone from class of 2026 got their email at 6, not necessarily at 4. But that was on Apr 29 Friday, not Thursday. CAS might send emails this year as they always did before - on Fri email and on next Tue Acceptance. But that’s what think lol.

Love how I go straight to this thread at every suspected email date at 4😂

Please don’t get your hopes up guys  at best it’s a 5.1% acceptance rate off the waitlist, and it’s solely off what they want. If they want a North Dakotan they’re picking the North Dakotan even if you might be better at Cornell. All we can do is pray

Also I think there are more waitlists this year, my school had 25% more waitlists this year as opposed to the last few years
