My daughter was also admitted this morning for CAS. She got the email on Friday, 5/3 around 9AM PST and the response due was 9am EST today. We were surprised by that they sent an email earlier than that. In Fridayās form, there was a question whether she was also interested in TO option and she said no. To accept the offer, she has 5 days from this Thursday, so this might be some indication of the next wave? I just want to thank you all. It was difficult to keep waiting and hope everyone gets the news soon. Now, I heard the brutal stories about Cornell Premed. Does anyone have families and friends who have the first hand experience?

My sister is doing premed in CHE. She was top in her class, but she struggled getting high grades in her science classes. (Class averages were like B) The humanities classes were very interesting, and most students are able to get As with efforts.
However, she said Cornell lacks opportunities for premed students due to its location, and thereās not much you could do within the campus. It would be relatively hard to find clinical positions without great connections.
She chose Cornell over a top LAC in NYC that gave her more aid, and she kinda regrets that decision now due to the reasons above, but sheās not depressed like some ppl in some of those horror stories. She loved the environment and people there, and she said premed is definitely doable if you put in the work.
Have you received an email from COE with a prompt? Because I have only gotten an email saying that they WILL send an email with a prompt but I havenāt received the prompt itself

Last year my son was given a deadline to respond but there were no more waves after him so thereās no way to know how many more CAS waves they will have. I remember he had a bit more time because the acceptance deadline was related to when he got his FA package which was more than 5 days from the offer.
When did you receive the second email? I only received one email on April 9th

This is the last email I got from them on 9th April. Havenāt got anything afterwards with a writing prompt.
I applied to CALS, and in their waitlist information section on their website it says that new grade reports are recommended. I sent a LOCI in early april but is it really necessary to send new grades? will your application be a little less considered if you donāt send them? is there anyone that applied to cals and didnāt send them in? or more importantly anyone that got off the waitlist for any college and hadnāt sent new scores?
So there has been only 1 wave so far, right? Iām really hoping for another one soon!

I am also on the waitlist at CALS and I did not send any grade updates. Iām not sure if we should send them though
ILR is apparently sending emails and then a phone call. Has anyone heard anything?
