I have reported concerns about the “most active” list to Sorin previously.
I appreciate that there is continual effort to respond to feedback here, but man, I feel like in the process the site has lost all sense of a cohesive visual brand. The bolder fonts are more readable, but they don’t really mesh with the other fonts. They look similarly bold/emphasized to the thread headings and usernames and are much bolder than the supporting information about the post. It’s just a graphic design/typographical nightmare.
It is impossible to tell what page you are on now…it used to be that the page you were on was darker than the others. Can that function be put back in.
Also I still would still like to see latest posts on top of the list of forums.

@happy1 , I am in agreement. The page number isn’t bolded and I can’t figure out where I am anymore. This is happening to others too,
I’m now on at least day four of not being able to tell what page number I’m on. How hard can this be too fix?
Okay, you can see the reply#, and we know there are 20 replies per page, so figure it out yourselves, ya lazy bums!

My eyes see NO differentiation in the page numbers. So, I too have no idea what page I’m on. Really weird.
Same! This is making me nuts. Sometimes I’m not sure if I’m missing whole pages when I am reading through a whole thread.
Lol, I can only tell I’m on page 1 because this thread is the lead.
I also can’t tell what page I am on, and find myself having to guess which would be next. I’m getting tired of re-reading only to realize halfway down, I’ve read this page, but can’t tell which one I am on.
I was finally used to the lighter font - then it changed. Cruel joke! I actually think the bolder font is harder on my eyes.
The page number issue is going to be one of those issues where people just say “I give up”. It’s super annoying. Some of these changes are really, really defeating - feels like one step forward, three steps back.
Repeating post #362 for those who may have skipped page 19 through Inadvertent Navigation Misdirection Syndrome (INMS), a condition unique to victims… errr users of Vanilla Forums.
Also, using the right arrows next to the page numbers to advance to the next page can help prevent skipping pages.
Oh for goodness sake, just make the next page noticeable. Why did this change in the first place. It is all too much work and that is dissappointing.

I agree with an upthread comment that the fonts aren’t aesthetically pleasing, but it’s infinitely easier to read posts now, so aesthetics be dam_ed, ?. I’ll take anything that makes it easier to read and use this site.
I’m beginning to think the page issue is a way to punish people for complaining about the site…
Unless you are viewing latest posts, the address bar lists the page number. Not that I’m a fan of workarounds (I’m not and I don’t think I should be forced to), but it’s helped me figure out what page I’m on.

Using an iPad, I can’t see the entire address bar. Right now it say talk.collegeconfidential.com If I touch the address bar, it pulls up the whole address, but because it is so long, I can’t see all of it in the bar. IOW, the end part of the address is so far to the right that it’s outside the view of the ba.
I have tried using the >> arrows next to the page numbers at the bottom of the page, but still seem to miss some pages when more than one is unread. It’s incredibly frustrating. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to fix this problem? This, to me, is more annoying than the font color that everyone was complaining about previously.
