Don’t forget Bran(sp?)–wasn’t it foretold that he will fly?
On a side note, those of you who watched HBO’s Silicon Valley after GOT got a bigger omg moment, greater than the last seconds of last night’s episode of GOT.
Am I right?
Hint: Horse action
And where, one wonders, is Rickon? And Arya’s wolf? I’d love them to be reunited.
On the show, Rickon is at the Last Hearth, but in the books he’s on Skagos. @Consolation I think he may be showing up again soon, since the “previously on” and Bran’s flashback served to remind the audience of his existence.
Last Hearth is the Umbers’ castle. Which side do the Boltons think they are on? Ramsey mentioned several houses last episode.
In the books, the Manderleys know where Rickon is, and the Manderleys were mentioned in the last show episode by Ramsey. So, I think either way Rickon will come back in as a pawn between Ramsey Bolton (boo!) and houses that should be loyal to the Starks but might not be.
In the books, Arya is still having dreams of being Nymeria, her direwolf, leading a large pack of regular wolves in the Riverlands.
Ramsey mentioned that the Karstarks, Manderlys and one other house were loyal to them. Manderlys? Dare I hope they are setting us up for Frey pie?
The promo for this Sunday shows someone offering Ramsey a “gift”.
I may have to reread the books. I’ve forgotten some details.
I’m afraid the “gift” will be Rickon. I would much prefer for there to be Frey pie.
I just checked the show. Ramsey said the Umbers, Manderlys, and Karstarks.
It’s pretty easy to forget or miss some details in 4500+ pages, @Consolation! I check the wikis if I can’t remember something.
Upcoming episode titles:
Episode 3: Oathbreaker
Episode 4: Book of the Stranger
Episode 5: The Door
So??? spoiler…
Rickons back. Jon left, because he died and can. So he is not the Oathbreaker.
Not the fastest moving episode, except for the last few minutes.
I’m just glad that the plot seems to be moving a bit (if ever so slowly…)
Ned heard Bran. I thought that was really interesting…
So, since Arya drank the poison and didn’t die, does that mean she truly is no one and doesn’t want the revenge that Arya wanted? Because, I’ll miss that Arya.
Poor Shaggydog!
I can’t believe Arya would ever lose the little kernel inside that is Arya Stark. She’s waiting, but she’ll get her revenge as a Stark.
I agree about poor Shaggydog. But let’s not underrate Osha. Maybe we’ll get our murderous launderesses subplot after all, with a side of Frey pie. One can hope!
What did people think? I was hoping that Osha would reach that knife…
Ramsay should not be killed by a minor figure.
@hebegebe I thought the same thing! I can’t wait for Ramsay to get what’s coming to him, but not by a secondary character.
My favorite moment was when Tormund Giantsbane got his first look at Brienne.
Mine was Tormund’s not-so-subtle making googly eyes at her during dinner, the sexual tension palpable to others at the table.
Brienne is more comfortable swinging her sword beheading someone than being wooed.
There IS a lid for every pot.
I liked the scene with Brienne, Melisandre, and Davos. In thinking about a reunion between Jon and Sansa, I’d somehow forgotten about how much history Brienne had with Stannis’ followers.
Liked the googly eyes, too.
