Ugh, tfw you get a test grade that is bad only by your own standards… it’s really not a good feeling.
Oooof my PSAT scores came out. Yikes… 1340 with a 740 on math and 600 on reading 
@KennyStudies I don’t see how that’s a bad score. Especially for a sophomore.

I took the SSAT today. It was an experience, for sure. I was the oldest there. Test wasn’t so bad, though. I think I did alright.

Got a 1370 combined with a 730 Reading and a 640 Math. I’m very very happy with it, as I didn’t do any prep. Hopefully next year with some prep and more knowledge my math score will improve.

I got a 1300, I think it was 660 math and 640 reading.

Hi everyone! I just finished my last week of the semester—I’m so happy! I hope y’alls finals weeks went well!
I did really well, I’m so happy. I got an A+ on my Spanish final, leaving me with an A-. I got A+s on my World History projects (2) and my test, leaving me with an A+! I got an A (I think) on my Chemistry test, leaving me with an A. Didn’t have a final in Health, I end with an A. Got the only A+ in my class in Psych and one of the two in the school on the final, leaving me with an A! Got an A on my Pre-Calc final leaving me with a B (I honestly thought I failed the final). Lastly, got an A+ on my English project ending the class with an A+. I’m so… so happy. AH!!
Hi everyone! I have recently been promoted to French Club Vice President and I’m really happy!
I got a 99% on my English essay, and I was told im definitely on track for AP English next year! My lowest grade right now is a 95% in Algebra 2 and the semester ends mid- January.
Darn I was so close to ending the semester with As. I’m glad I was able to get an A on my calc midterm, but sad to get a B+ in chem midterm, I was three points away from ending with an A.
Nice job @stanford200381 and @KennyStudies! Nothing wrong with a B! I was barely hanging onto my Pre-Calculus B- so the A bringing to a B was nice. I had a rough beginning and middle of the semester due to mother issues so it felt really nice to end strong. I now end the first half of sophomore with:

Honors Chemistry- 95
Health- 96
AP Psych- 95
Pre-Calculus- 88
Honors English 10- 102
I’m not angry. At all. I’m proud of myself. Ugg. I’m really not trying to brag but after last semester and stuff I’m glad to be doing better.

@KennyStudies That’s okay! If you’re that close to an A for the semester, then I’m sure you can get a high enough grade second semester to bring your final grade up to an A
Overall I’m very happy with my semester grades! 100 in Choir, 99 in Chinese, 97 in AP Bio, 97 in APUSH, 96 in AP BC Calc, either a 93 or a 94 in anatomy (that’s the one I’m actually proudest of - had a lot of trouble with it earlier this semester). Also got a 1510 on my PSAT, yay. Can’t wait for two weeks of doing absolutely nothing!
I’m missing finals week to go to the March for Life in Washington D.C. in mid-January, but I’m taking them the week before and am not especially worried. My current semester grades are A’s in Chemistry, Gym, Engineering, English 10 Honors, & Environmental Science. A- in Pre calc and an A+ in Spanish 2

Does anybody know if a Sophomore can get research opportunities in Psych?
I’ve looked online - many programs either require you to be a junior or to be 16 by June/August. I’ll still be 15 by then. Also, I’m planning on doing a Kaiser internship summer of junior year, which seems like something that’d be more helpful towards my ultimate goal of being a Psychologist.
No connections either :(.
