They are more concerned with enforcing mask wearing while working out in university gyms and while eating in dining halls than they are with ACTUAL safety concerns for its students. I’m disappointed in my alma mater. Student Safety only matters if it helps them control students.

Yes - my son was accepted in Dec and is waiting for honors decision (as well as any merit offer).
I believed honors and merit could be coming out in waves up until march. I was admitted to honors a week after my acceptance on 12/10.

My daughter has been accepted to OSU, Miami and a few others. She’s leaning towards Miami for the combined 4yr degrees also. She’s planning on a biology major.

How fast can you get a bachelors and masters at Miami with the duela degree?
Do you mean a dual Bachelor and Master degree? My 3rd year daughter who attends Miami is doing the 4-year BS/MS in Biochemistry. She started with a lot of AP and CCP courses. They also have 4+1 of a student doesn’t have a many starting credits. My high school son’s first choice is OSU, but he really likes the 4-year dual BS/MS and Miami gave him mucho scholarships.
Daughter was admitted in December. She applied to honors. Does anyone know if OSU will tell a student if they were declined from honors?
I agree but daughter is having a hard time getting her head around “accepting” OSU before having all of the school decisions before her! I tell her that it’s only $100 and we can later withdraw, but I feel like the whole college decision thing is so emotion-filled!
I saw on the OSU website that RD decisions would be 2/18 and 3/25 which I assume includes all the kids that were deferred (including my daughter). Has anyone heard or asked if these are actually the dates?

My dd emailed was told end of March 
I think the deferred are 3/25, after spending 2 Fridays (12/10 & 1/21) refreshing the portal with ZERO results, and then getting deferred along with pretty much EVERYONE else 4 days later, I have no faith that we will hear by 2/18. Based on scrolling through last year’s portal, it looks like some deferred rolled out prior to the 2nd regular decision date, but this year is so unpredictable…

That’s so disappointing and can’t help but make our kids feel differently about OSU. We had such a fun visit there this Fall and she was on such a high about OSU and it’s taken a backseat as other schools have sent in results.

Just saw that my SAP status changed, dos this mean financial aid is coming soon?
What is the change?

Called them and they said it’s something they use to track your academic status in college to see how it affects your finincial aid status

Has anyone heard about merit yet?
S22 received a snail mail Thursday that financial aid offer will be coming in “early March”. I’m assuming that means merit, as well, but I could be wrong. Not sure when the awards went out last year? Anyone?
For those waiting, my son just got an email late last night about the he was admitted into the Honors program.
