"Congratulations on your recent acceptance to The Ohio State University College of Engineering Honors program! As an Honors student in the College of Engineering, you have the opportunity to apply for the Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) Honors program.
IBE is an Honors program strategically designed by the College of Engineering and Fisher College of Business to provide a select group of students the opportunity to supplement their engineering degree with a broader education sought today by many industries. The program is structured to develop your ability to communicate across business and technical domains, create a sense of business acumen, and experience a multidisciplinary approach to open-ended problem solvingāsimilar to that required in most companies. You will engage with students of different disciplines, interface with industry partners, work on real-world product development projects, and create a sense of entrepreneurial thinking while developing a range of teamwork, communication, and other professional skills.
Engineering students participating in the program supplement their engineering curriculum with a general business minor as well as IBE cohort courses and upon completion of the program receive an IBE Honors distinction on their diploma."

"I am reaching out to you today about a message you received encouraging you to apply to the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors program. Unfortunately, there was a glitch in the system and you accidently received the message. This email was about an additional application for students admitted into the honors program. We wanted to provide opportunities for all engineering students. "
Hi, Iām an international student. Got an email from āaskabuckeye@osu.eduā this morning claiming that Iāve been admitted to the Columbus campus. Considering the RD announcement date was expected to be in āLate Marchā, Iām not sure if this is legitimate. Again, as an international student, I donāt know if fake acceptance emails are a thing in the US. If anyone could help me confirm that the email is the real deal, Iād appreciate it. Thanks.
If you lookup āOhio State Application Statusā on Google and click āLaunch Applicant Centerā and login, you should see a button that says āApplication Statusā. If you click on it, it should then say āAcceptanceā.
Thanks for all the information on this thread. May need to start looking at housing at some point. OOS regular admit on Thursday. Feel very fortunate. Does anyone know when and how they indicate that either you did or did not get into honors and is it sent on the same day as the RD acceptance email? If so, looks like no honors, but not sure. Best of luck to all. Thank you.
I donāt know. All I know is when I called, they said if you get your financial aid package and it doesnāt have a scholarship on it, then most likely you wonāt be getting it. We feel like we have been waiting forever! Itās literally the only school so far that my kid has gotten into, that she hasnāt heard about any scholarship whatsoever yet.
Ok, my D22 hasnāt received any package yet! The only thing she knows is that sheās been accepted, and sheās been accepted to the honors program. She wants to make her decision soon, but is holding out to see what OSU gives her. Frustrating!
