Why do you think that?
Maybe because uci and uc davis were at 3pm?
It won’t be that’s for sure
UCI was closer to 5 pm. Each school acts independently - both in making admission decisions and in what date/time they release their results. If they coordinated at all, six of the nine UCs wouldn’t have scheduled their admitted student days on the same day.
I hope it’s 5pm. It’s much more appropriate to have a glass of wine then! lol
My son’ high school has UCLA counselor on staff and she said to students today that the results will come next Friday. UC San Diego will announce tomorrow for sure.
I’m not sure if it’s true or she just didn’t want them to get too emotional or what……
Delated
Expected, especially with record applications.
Probably tomorrow
SIR on this is still May 1st. This is a bit old, they might have changed plans since then.
Since SIR is May 1st wouldn’t that mean it’s coming out tomorrow? WHO knows at this point
Is it much more likely to be tomorrow over the 22nd?
SIR for the UC’s is May 15 due to the delay on processing the FAFSA.
Oh okay thank yoy
just popped in here, good luck to all. The memories!
S graduated last year Electrical engineer, now at UCI for grad school
I believe no word at this point, from Cal Poly, is a version of a “waitlist” or a no? I have very little faith at this point but the not hearing anything is tough.
Naviance is, I believe, self-reported data by schools and students not by the institutions. It is regarded as wholly inaccurate from what I am told. I believe the UC data would likely be the most accurate based on their application, admission, and enrollment records.
I certainly agree that self-reported data can have issues, but Naviance data is definitely not wholly inaccurate at our school. I know not every data point is entered in Naviance but In many cases it includes lots of data that I know to be accurate just based on knowing the individuals involved. I think people above explained why the person who enrolled was not shown in the state reported data. But I just wanted to reply to your comment because I have found Naviance data incredibly helpful and useful at our school. That may not be the case everywhere.
Good luck everyone assuming today is the day decisions are released
@JayKu, you’re one of the most stressed out parents, I totally understand and I have to show my repect.
Relax! Your son is the top student in his school district, right? And he’s from low-income family (you mentioned he filed free UC applications), right?
From what I heard, First-Gen, Low-Income and underrepresented may be given a lift… Which means your son should have more chance.
