Just tried to register for a tour. Received the disclaimer that it’s for admitted students but we were still allowed to register. Received the email stating the admitted major listed. Then cancelled.

Looks like portal is back to how it was before all this mess except there is NO Awaiting Decision it is blank

I saw in a College Facebook group (can’t remember which one) someone put up a screen shot of a message from their admissions counselor - it said admissions would be released next week. Not sure what to make of that. I sure hope not.

I think it could be next week. Doesn’t make sense because they obviously already have decisions made, but who knows why UTK does what they do

I hope you’re right! I tried the hack for the first time 30 min ago and was able to book it and an email came with her major and college of arts and science information.

I’m honestly a bit lost now. Someone who had the admitted major showing in their portal about a month ago can’t schedule a tour now. So either the tour means nothing or the admitted major showing in the portal means nothing.

I doubt decisions are coming out today unfortunately. I have a feeling they would’ve posted that decisions are coming out today if that was the case. That is what they normally do, but I will keep my hopes up.

I think bottom line is that being able to schedule a tour is a good sign. But its possible that admitted major was a glitch

im honestly freaking out- i haven’t gotten an option for a tour sign up or an admitted major on my portal. does that mean i didn’t get in? this is my dream school and im starting to lose it with all that’s going on recently
