Yes my daughter who was accepted did receive one with pom pom and musical box with rocky top etc… So this “MAIL” is probably just fund raising or marketing.
At this point after all these days of waiting anything from UTK is welcome.

I just think this is so funny that UTK seems to be delaying a lot and on the other hand us as a group increasing the mystery using hacks and spreadsheets and god knows what to come to a conclusion which probably has no impact on what decision UTK has made or is going to make.
Unless UTK has read this forum and compiled all our user ids and are going to subpoena us and cancel our applications.

We’re lucky if we even get our mail delivered up here. So somebody actually scanning in our mail for informed delivery never happens. Yesterday it said we were getting two mail pieces. We got 10.

This is driving me batty (mom of UTK applicant that was deferred in EA) My daughter said her application status “Awaiting Decision” was removed and it doesn’t say anything now. Is this a bad sign? Please be honest, I’d like to prepare with an ample supply of wine for myself.

try this link for signing up for an admitted students tour. let us know if you get an email and if the email has the major listed on it. If you do not plan to attend you can cancel the reservation if you succeeded in making one.
