It should if it is generic then it is not working

My hope is that UTK is smart enough to check if the person register has an admit status or anybody with that link would be able to register as long as they have applied to UTK
you have to sign into your account in order to sign up. that’s why i believe i’m admitted because it probably shows in their system who is admitted and who isn’t before allowing people to sign up

i’m gonna have my friend who did not fill out the deferral form after being deferred try to sign up for admitted student tour and new student day

There was a deferral form? Where?
I think the wordings are slightly different and my original email from UTK has her name in 2 places because i did not sign up for that they sent it.
When i used link for my other daughter who is deferred i got the email like Jai with name only in top title.

Exactly… or they’re counting on only admitted student to receive the email with the link and did not enter those stop gaps. Theoretically only those with admitted email would have access to the link. Little did they know about this group 
There weren’t any deferral forms …
