I think decisions would be Admit, Decline and then a few other options are study abroad for 1st semester and then the pathway which is 1 year at one of the affiliate schools. I noticed on the screen shot you posted of your accepted daughter that it listed an affiliate school as a New Vol Admit student day. Surprised if she was accepted to UTK why they show the affiliates.
Yeah but maybe that list is just the entire list for Admitted Students.
Given the way things have been panning out looks like the IT department at UTK is not prepared for an event of this magnitude. Just not well thought out. To put things in perspective, when i emailed OSU about my deferred daughter i got a well laid out response within an hour.
trueā¦ it just seemed silly to me, what if one was confused and signed up for the wrong one, would they notice and notify you? Probably not.

Or folks like us trying to find any info using up resources and signing up and cancelling and so forth( I am culprit number 1)
actually that may resolve the question if the admitted student day is accurate or not!!
if you sign up your daughter to the affiliate would it recognize that she wasnāt actually accepted there. hmmmm what do you think?

Same boat here! My son thinks we are all crazy. Heās already in at PSU, Pitt, Ohio State and LSU. UTK is toward the bottom of his list. But all this portal stuff has been fun lol

we did not apply to PSU or LSU
U PITT both got in with a great scholarship but we declined
OSU waiting on 1
bummer. thought maybe it could be helpfulā¦ oh well.
thanks for trying it out. I have heard really good things about UT Chattanooga. My son says kids come to his UTK campus on the weekends from there.
Very nice place close by.
I would prefer the Smokies for the weekends though.
Just emailed them to cancel my registration.

Those are regional events set up in 4 or 5 major cities in TN. Itās just a way to celebrate with people from your same area in TN. So Iām sure you can register for as many as you select.
