Oh gotcha, well it is not blank for my son, it still says “Awaiting Decision” right now.
Mine is blank and no counselor or slate ID

My son’s portal right now is exactly as it has always been, showing slate ID, counselor, awaiting decision, etc.
Wonder what it means that some students have blank portals. Maybe their system is just updating portals in waves.

Or one of the 2
a) Blank ones are accepted
b) Blank ones are denied or waitlisted
c) System is still updating for the ones who are not blanked out
Anyone else’s student apply RD and not have to deal with SRAR except right at application time? My DS applied on 11/25, received request for SRAR on 11/27 but no request to submit 7th semester grades. Gosh, I hope this wasn’t something that he missed. I see lots of comments about SRAR issue with EA applicants and curious what it was all about.
The 7th semester grade submission was mainly for students who were deferred in EA i think

May depend … if students don’t get accepted this time, are they deferring/waitlisting again and doing rolling or May admissions? Or are they just denying … has anyone heard?
Meaning if you are deferred again would the status say awaiting decision again? Lots of people still have not declined their spots so surely spots will continue to open…if people want to wait.
For this round of applications, there are no deferrals. It’s either you’re accepted, waitlisted, or rejected.
" Students who receive a waitlist decision may opt-in to join the Fall 2023 waitlist and participate in one of two pathway programs — Verto Vols or Rocky Top Transfer. Our waitlist is not ranked, and we review students holistically when determining which students will be admitted from the waitlist. Does anyone know how many people they accepted EA?
17,500 accepted out of 49,248 EA applications.
I was not able to find how many they accepted during last years RD, anyone find stats on that?
I do know that a total of 140 students were contacted after June 1st who received admissions by being on the waitlist.
Typically, UT released decisions on a tuesday at 7pm EST.
Also- for EA a lot of people had a glitch in their portal the morning of the release that showed “admitted major:” and a couple other things for just a few hours. doubt something like that will happen again, but maybe check the portal rn to see!
they announced late february, so today is the last tuesday before march. i can say with a good 95% certainty that decisions should come out today unless there’s some sort of behind the scenes issue that the general public doesn’t know about
I will say I was looking at this page before EA came out… I feel if you saw the admitted major glitch along with the student ID and stuff earlier in January that has to mean something good, because the same exact thing happened to the EA applicants that got in
