UGA: Univ of Georgia Athens ran the model admit program administratively IMHOā¦ designated date for in state/ and month later for OOSā¦ time was put out, link posted, decisions renderedā¦ done and doneā¦ concurā¦everyone else playing silly games with this process has no leg to stand on to ājudgeā these high schoolers in their first and only attempt to apply to collegeā¦as we watch these temples of education keep making a mess of the app cycle year in and year outā¦

Is it a bad thing if my application status says Awaiting Decision, since everyone elseās on here disappeared?
No one knows. Probably just means a decision hasnāt been entered into the system yet.

Do we think thereās any chance they just send emails out saying a decision is ready without a heads-up before hand with how unorganized they are ?
Probably not. They replied to an Instagram comment saying it would be announced on their social media.

Probably not, but I do know that Texas does it with no warningā¦ everyone knew they would release February 1 but I didnāt get a decision email until almost 10 pm
I could definitely see UTK being somewhere I really enjoy and flourish, but itās been SO hard for me not to enroll at my current top choice because of this fiascoā¦ the lack of communication makes me nervous. Not to mention Iāve been accepted with open arms elsewhere. Makes it hard not to just commit. Anyone else having similar feelings?

Since I started applying it was always UTK #1 then it was the other 7 in no order it was the only school I attended events for and sent emails. But the fear of not getting in and them pushing it to the last minute just makes me wanna go with my number 2. But weāll see what happens

UTK is still my top choice, but now thatās itās so late in the year I have received merit scholarships at Ole Miss and everything. It just sucks to wait around when all of your friends know where they are going
UTK is still my number 1, Itās more feeling like my test scores arenāt good enough (stacked on top of not knowing anything) because of how competitive itās gotten which is very unfortunate because my GPA, Extracurriculars and everything else Iāve done reflects Iām not what my test score says

I feel the exact same way
Apparently some In-State High Schoolers who attend Gov School have received their UTK decisions (sort of). They somehow already had access to their UtNetID and Student ID and were able to log into their myUTK portal (Not the original applicant portal).
I did also see this I tried to add a image but I had the same error someone had last night

Hm. Howād they get access? Maybe another portal glitch?
They did some program I think and it was given to them for whatever program and they checked it today
