Our high school has an Instagram page showing where seniors are going for college. Two students said they are going to UT. I entered both names in the directory. The directory only pulled up one of the 2 names I entered.

atp it’s seeming like the best option. I just wanna leave Florida bad.
- Looked up two friends who are admitted but have not accepted yet: both say active. They have a NET ID and a utk email address. It also says knoxville for campus.
- Looked my son up who was deferred EA: his name shows up, has a NET ID and says campus knoxville, has a utk email address ( same as accepted students). instead of active says left 2/26/24
- Looked up two other deferred friends: they do not show up in directory

Search “MyUTK” on Google. Then click “Forgot password.” From there it explains how to set it up.

Well then, I’m going to keep checking the directory and hope I get some closure on this, even if it says left the building. lol.

The updated SRAR wasn’t required. I’m sure there will be deferred students who get in RD that also did not update their grades.

For me it’s just odd that her name says Chattanooga campus. We did not apply to UTC but our counselor
Told us that waitlisted with the option to go to one of their pathway schools is one of the things you may see

I would imagine you’d have to at least accept a spot on the waitlist before you appear on the directory for Chattanooga campus… maybe not though considering this information.
But at the same time though, if you do pathway does UTK pick the school for you, or do you? Because I know with CAP at UT Austin you get to choose the school
respectfully, i think yall are stressing yourselves out more doing all this than you would to just wait it out. it’s an emotional roller coaster, ik. however, none of this is confirmed and i bet it’d be 10x more heartbreaking for your student to think they got in bc of this stuff and then not actually get accepted. take a deep breath and know everything will work out in the end!

So why would it be a Chattanooga email if you didn’t pick Chattanooga? Let alone accept a spot on the waitlist.
I searched the directory for my DS who was admitted last year ( Fall23’) but did not accept and he was listed as left on 4/26/23. Then I searched for a friend who was waitlisted last year but never got in and there was no listing.
