I didn’t get that, but some people earlier did get that message. Even though they got the message, they still had their major shown in the confirmation email

Who? I have seen no one that doesn’t get a major across multiple platforms.
I had it a couple weeks ago but it went away and it lets me register, but even when I had the message it let me register. From what I’ve heard though, some people with the message weren’t allowed it wouldn’t let them sign up
I think it was either yesterday or two days ago in this forum, I don’t know if I’ll be able to find it.

I got the major in the admitted student email, name was not found in the directory. I think the email for admitted student day means nothing. I think the directory is an indicator.
I’m sure we will all find out… next month…

I have three confirmations:
- Student Vol. day
- 1:1 with one stop
- Student admission tour - shows major
I hate to say this, but I think the system on the backend just fills in one of the majors from your portal as a placeholder.

This is the language I get before I can submit :
“ This tour is designed for newly admitted Vols preparing to be on Rocky Top this fall with programming and content catered to them. We want you to have the best experience possible during your visit, and recommend registering for our regular campus tours or attending Big Orange Preview on April 20! We can’t wait to host you for a campus visit soon. Go Vols!”

How do you access the directory?
It’s no longer accessible. They took it down because students were finding their names in it before admission decisions were released.
I think the important piece of the directory is the “left “ part and most if not all of the dates showing this week .
We aren’t showing at all in the directory but I don’t think it’s a bad thing until the decisions are officially out .

no, he wasn’t in the directory. but his ACT is a lot higher than my kids, just .2 lower GPA and score is what they seem to care about at UTK so it’s likely he got in over my son.
