OOS, 4.3W GPA according to GT, but U of T has it as 4.8, our school does not do weighted GPAs. 1420 SAT 2 sport varsity athlete all 4 years and leadership, tons of volunteer hours 10 APs (including Calculus, Statistics, Physics 1, CS, Economics Micro and Macro, US History,

As I said in my earlier text, I thought there will be a lot of waitlists. I also believe unlike many schools, UTK will pull a lot off. My OOS daughter got pulled off last year. They still haven’t figured out their yield for the past two years and putting lots on a wait list helps them form their class. This is time for your child to market themselves to their admission counselors. Make sure they know that they really want to attend and stick out amongst the crowd. Waitlist is not a no. Be patient. Congrats to all. Everyone of you are bright and will find your right college.
