So I called, my dtr got the email now abt the google form, going to fill it out and see what happens. Her screen still says deferred because of srar so???

I wonder if they are going down a list name by name?
We had no issue with SRAR, were deferred yesterday, and then admitted today. I am not sure what changed.

Congrats to your student ! But this just stinks for a lack of a better way to put it . We got deferred , no SRAR issues and got an email from our Admissions Counselor about the issue. But we are still deferred .
I feel like this is all just a big mess and they are scrambling

I didntā read all through but I got the SRAR application not complete for EA last night and had it this morning - I sent a message - they responded only by saying to check my portal again - I thought for a min it would be good news. It is now a normal deferral - I asked what happened because I confirmed I had everything was in for EA and I am worried this will happen for RD - I just got back āEmma - you were deferred thatās what your letter is about. You need to bolster your application.ā - No explanation about the other status of missing info - no sorry about that ā¦ nothingā¦ Didnt feel awesome

I didnāt get that message - Did anyone else get this? I got nothing - no email, no anything except the responses I posted about acting like it never happenedā¦
It canāt just be stats, because I looked at those who had the issue and then accepted, but I have higher STATS so they must have other criteria than GPA/SAT.
Also is it just the people who ended up being accepted who were asked to fill out the google form?
My admissions counselor sent out an email around 5:30 to fill out a form to those who were affected, but I havenāt heard anything yet

I am sorry to hear that. I hope they get back to you and explain what happened or maybe it has not all been fixed yet.
So my S24 and I just spent a couple hours trying to undo a UTK error. He did NOT have the SRAR issue. He was deferred but this afternoon we had an email with the form for the SRAR applicants. I called them emailed our admissions counselor and finally they thanked my kid for being honest and said he will hear his final decision in mid February with other deferred kids. #exhausted
I want my evening back!

This is crazy. You got the email and didnāt have the issue. We spoke to someone and were confirmed on the list for the issue but still havenāt gotten an email, any changes or anything else. Kudos for being honest!
By bolster do they mean 7 semester grades??
