both actually. Her portal had admitted major blank as well as the tour registration confirmation email. She also had a deferred decision but came a day late because she was a SRAR glitch applicant.
You should definitely cancel it if you are not planning to go. You are right that someone else probably needs that spot.

We updated the SRAR and the high school has sent out official transcripts. I see neither on the portal. The SRAR system shows that the update was sent. We also havenāt gotten all those spam UTK emails since the deferral - nada. Weāve been ghosted by UTKā¦

Under the Events tab, only Campus tours are listed, no Admitted Students Days. Also, we had Smokey Dog and Admitted Major back then, but I think itās just another IT issues over there, and we were affected by the whole SRAR issue.

Same for me! Only campus tours listed, I had the admitted major a few weeks ago, no emails from themā¦itās been crickets. Iām kind of eh on the whole thing now honestly, they can want me as a student or not, and Iāll be happy wherever I end up.

is there anyone who has tried to sign up for an admitted tour and didnt get an email that says we see you were admitted to blank college for blank major?
and do we think signing up for one in an attempt to hack the system could be used against us?
The email clearly states āWe see youāve been admitted to X major ā ā¦ so Iām assuming this is correct and that only those who have this are in .
I assume that everyone has this based on whatever their requested major was. Until we hear that someone doesnāt Have it, I donāt think it means anything
Someone up thread already said that they didnāt see their major when they selected the tour. Thatās how I read it.

I signed up for a tour because we actually do need to visit and tour because we have not been there yet. I would not sign up if you do not need to actually tour, someone else may need that space. Or you could sign up, see what the email says, and then cancel your spot if you donāt need it.
All the portal astrology aside, is there a release date now for deferred students?

We tried it, then cancelled the appointment. The tour confirmation email we received had the second choice major, which is the same that we briefly saw when Admitted major was showing on the portal. The portal still shows Awaiting Decision.
It does not show the requested 1st choice major.

I would sign up for a tour if you still need to visit for sure ā¦ if not , I would cancel it so someone else can snag that spot .
I would think this means admitted for sure. If itās going as far as showing the 2nd major then there has to be something to it.

I siged up for big orange preview, but where do you see admitted major?
We signed up for the New Vol Admit Day but the confirmation didnāt say anything about major in the email. Also had the admitted major show up in the portal during the glitch. Really hoping they follow the trend for the last 2 years and release decisions Tuesday.
