That’s kind of what i thought, thumper. It seems like an evergreen thread to me, one which could be built on. If i started a new one, it would probably end up being repetitive to a large degree. Or if I start a new thread and link the old one, some people would probably go back to posting on that one, and then we really would have two active threads on the same topic.

@LasMa…YouTube links are typically allowed as long as they add to the discussion (and aren’t inappropriate). As thumper1 alludes to, most of the issues we have involve older threads about a specific situation that are later “hijacked” (and where the OP is no longer actively engaged). I don’t actually see an issue with the thread you resurrected since it is one of those general evergreen topics, though at the same time we are trying to stave off an epidemic of old threads bubbling to the top. And we have a seen a LOT lately.
If you haven’t already done so, go ahead and create a new thread for this one. You can link back to the old thread for context, but we will make sure it is closed.

What happened to the notifications and messages labels next to our screenname in the top right blue box? It seems to have disappeared.

nope. Still missing at the top. I see my screenname and nothing next to it. When I get messages the #s show up but no labels
many of my words are missing- the search word is missing, the edit option word is missing. I have logged out and back in. Didnt fix it!! Its a royal PITA. The functions are there but I cant easily find them b/c I cant see them. PLEASE have the tech folks look into this. I had trouble logging in/out b/c I cant see/find the command. Ditto for the edit function. This is not ok

I am also seeing everything as it should be. I tried logging in via different browsers and tried my registered user account as well. Nothing looks awry. Is anyone else seeing what jym626 is seeing?
Now. on the computer at work, the icons are there. But they were missing on my ipad and home computer as of this morning. Weird…
I had something similar yesterday am, on my droid, first thing when back on CC, before I saw jym’s issue. No blue bar above or icon bar at the footer. Scrolling up/down didn’t help (It was as if my phone CC program had hiccuped.) I don’t know what I did, but probably eventually backspaced past the issue or refreshed via my phone browser keys. (Remember how we were getting logged out and could do either and we’d be logged back in- they went into our bag of tricks.) The only thing I can offer is that just now, when I was in a thread and hit the top left back arrow, both bars again disappeared for a second, which is not what I usually see. Sorry, I can’t offer more input.

It was so weird. In my case it looked like I was trapped.
