UPDATE: We Have Successfully Migrated the CC servers šŸŽ‰ šŸŽ‰

That predated the migration

No, it was never white on pale yellow:

It seems specific to that thread though (I just looked again)

Because the label on your post above is how it normally looks:

I wasn’t speaking as a moderator on that post. The label is attached to the user, so if I post in the politics forum, it still says Super Moderator below my name even though I’m not a politics moderator. The highlight, as shown below, is used when the moderator is speaking ex cathedra.

When I speak as a moderator, the text is highlighted.

The yellow on white. "Super Moderator " has been around for a couple of months at least.

Which is annoying, I agree, so if the admins want to add to the punch list, I have no objections

Agree that yellow with white lettering is impossible to see.

I’ve had zero problems so far. @CC_Mike , howdy!

I see! Didn’t realize you had different ā€œvoicesā€

I am logged in here, but I cannot log in on my phone because I have no idea what my password is. I can’t auto load it on my iPhone for some reason.

So…I guess I just won’t use my phone for this site.

I could change my password, but really, I had no issues and was always logged in on my phone before this migration.

I have noticed (and appreciate) that when moderators speak as moderators (rather than just posting their own comments), the message is highlighted to make that clear. It was only after the recent updates that I noticed the almost unreadable text. Maybe it has to do with the theme I was using.

I had to change my password also to since it seems they changed the password length. Using an android phone. Not really a big deal to me. It works fine on my phone.

Ok…so here is what I did! I went on my phone and asked to change my password. I ā€œchangedā€ it to the exact same one that was on my iPad! IOW, I didn’t change it…at all.

Poof…I logged in. I had to then log in again on my iPad, but no big deal…same password was already saved there.

Go figure!

I spend about half my time trying to second guess computers and work around issues! I’m usually pretty good at it, but every once in awhile I get stumped.

@MaineLonghorn, what are the issues you are facing?

Adding to my saga above…I had tried that original password a BUNCH of times on my phone before I just ā€œchangedā€ to the same password.

Really…why?

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer on this. We do not store user passwords so the only way to help is to reset them.

I know. But as you saw…I actually didn’t change my password. I used the same one! That is what was weird about the whole thing. But on my phone, this site didn’t recognize that same password until I ā€œchanged itā€. That is what is strange, don’t you think?

Oh, not on CC, just on the course of my work day. Were self employed so I’m the IT person, ha.

@CC_Sorin When I use Firefox, CC does not load and the browser crashes. It is fine on Chrome. Not sure if anyone else came across this, if it is a glitch on my computer, or maybe I’m the last one using Firefox LOL.

So…since this migration, I get pop ups all the time about some scholarship thing. I can X them out, but really, it’s annoying and something I don’t want to get.

Any way I can stop this…

Is everyone getting these things?

Yes. These are pop-ups to our partner webinars that anyone gets. You can close them down. We are working on a decent frequency so that they don’t become extremely intrusive.

Partner webinars? Please explain.
