Congratulations on Engineering Honors! Thatās awesome! Would you share your stats?
my stats were honestly not that good, iām really surprised i got in in the first place!
-5 APs
-1390 SAT
-106 weighted GPA
- +100 community service hours
- a few achievements and honors, but nothing extraordinary
- many ECās varying from musical involvement to religious but none of them related to my major (aero)
- strong rec letters and mid essay and short answers (from my perspective)
- bilingual student with first language not being english
perhaps there are a few things that i am missing but thatās what i can think of from the top of my head

i think so! thankfully it was pretty generous
i applied and got admitted to aerospace engineering :))

Our mail tomorrow from USPS shows a letter from UTās āOffice of the President.ā Any clue what this could be? As you can see Iām impatient and donāt want to wait till tomorrow to find out!

Hello All! Been lurking for awhile so thought I would introduce myself. D24 was accepted to McCombs. Itās one of her top choices so sheās thrilled and frankly, relieved it went the way it did. Now in the long wait for the RD schools. March is going to be a long month! Appreciate all the stories and advice on this board and wishing everyoneās kiddos best of luck with the remainder of the process!

How do you check that at USPS? Iām curious now.
You can sign up for their informed delivery on their website. My mom gets emails daily about whatās in the mail, so she told me this will be in the mail tomorrow.

Yes! My D24 was accepted as a Psych major. I agree this month is going to be long. Sheās undecided about what to do with housing. Sheās got her app in for housing though. Good luck and hope you have a somewhat relaxed month.

Look into the Scottish Rite Dormitory and Hardin House. Both were recommended by friends who have daughters at UT. Safe, all girls, really nice dorms. Privately run so you apply directly to them, not thru UT housing. They will likely have a waitlist at this point but weāve heard there will be openings once people start making final decisions/commitments.
